Where Community Comes Together to Connect, Grow, and Thrive:

The Frank Wills Memorial Society is a charitable organization dedicated to strengthening community. With support from the people of Cochrane, the Society raised the funds to build this Community Hall as a shared space for Scouts, Guides, and the wider Cochrane and Rocky View communities.

For more than 26 years, the Society has invested in local initiatives through charitable giving of space and community support. It has also helped cultivate local entrepreneurs and commercial kitchen users, many of whom have grown into successful businesses within our community.

Every rental at the Wills Community Hall is reinvested into the facility's maintenance and operation. This commitment allows us to continue providing an affordable, accessible, and vibrant community space where people can gather, learn, celebrate, and grow.

At the Wills Community Hall

Whether you're planning a community gathering, celebration, workshop, or small-scale food production, the Hall offers two rental spaces: our Main Hall & Kitchen and our Commercial-grade Kitchen, available to rent separately.

Beyond the indoor spaces, you'll also enjoy access to ample private parking and outdoor areas that can be incorporated into your event, giving you even more flexibility to create the perfect experience.

The Main Hall

A versatile space that can be rented for weddings, family celebrations, business events, ongoing classes, and non-profit events. It’s a welcoming, open area with full or dimmed lighting, twinkle lights, round or rectangular tables, chairs, a portable podium & microphone and fully automated projector screen and Bluetooth audio system. The custom rustic wood bar/serving area into the fully equipped commercial kitchen is also an excellent addition to any event.

  • Capacity:
  • Up to 220 guests (chairs only, auditorium style)
  • Up to 130 guests (tables and chairs seated event)

PLEASE NOTE: For any events serving alcohol, a PAL (Private Event Insurance) and a valid liquor licence are required.

Commercial Kitchen

Our fully commercial kitchen is a professionally equipped, Alberta Health-compliant space designed for catering, food preparation, and food production. It’s well-suited for chefs, food entrepreneurs, and small businesses looking for a clean, functional, and flexible workspace.

The fully equipped kitchen also provides everything you need from an event perspective to help you host your perfect gathering.

I planned my sons birthday party here and I would highly recommend the use of this space. Not only was there everything we needed, but it was so clean. The staff was very kind, respectful and great at communicating throughout the booking. As well as very accommodating. And the best thing yet, everything went so smooth and was so great on the day of.

We will most definitely be having more events here in the future and I have already been telling so many people about my experience and how they should also look into this space for there future events. So I figured I would share here as well.

The main hall and kitchen is perfect for our events that usually attract 80+ people and it really is the best value in the Cochrane area. Great parking and easy to find.
